Rembembering James Garner Reynolds

Editor’s Note: We were all shocked and saddened by the passing of Mr. James Reynolds. In our effort to make sure the news of his death reached the fancy, we published an ever so brief obituary for him. Yesterday, Jim’s daughter-in-law, Paula Hall, sent us a more complete obituary written by his son, Brett. We have attached an excerpt below with a link to the entire article. His tireless efforts would result in Jim coming to be regarded as one of the World’s preeminent all-breed dog show judges. His hobby and passion took him around the World, having been invited to judge not only at home and in the US, but also in China, Japan, Korea, Sweden, Columbia, the UK, Australia, Brazil and many other nations. He was most proud of being the only Canadian and one of very few non-American’s to judge Best In Show at the prestigious Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in 2006. Through these adventures his outgoing and larger than life personality earned him many friends who will miss him dearly.
