Maryland Dog Club to Present Canine/Feline Smoke Masks to AA Fire Department on May 17
The Kennel Club of Anne Arundel (KCAA) is giving back to the community by donating canine/feline oxygen masks to the Anne Arundel Fire Department. These specially-designed masks are used for dogs and cats that have suffered smoke inhalation. It should be noted that smoke masks for humans cannot be used for dogs or cats. The donated masks will no doubt save numerous pets’ lives in the county. Each country fire station will receive several masks courtesy of the Kennel Club of Anne Arundel.
The official presentation ceremony of these masks will occur as follows:
Friday, May 17, 2024 at 1:15 p.m.
Howard County Fairgrounds – Main Exhibition Hall, West Friendship, Maryland
This event is a part of the Spirit of Maryland Canine Classic series of dog shows at the site. This will be a media-centered event, with fire engines, leaders from the Anne Arundel Fire Department, and a number of Dalmatians.
