Kimberly Meredith – AKC Judge

What is your New Year’s resolution for judging in 2022, and why is that important to you?

My New Year’s resolution is to only accept judging assignments within 50 miles of my home…. I wish!

I do not make New Year’s resolutions (because I never ever keep them), so…

• To be KIND

• To always judge the dogs honestly

• To ALWAYS put breed type first

• To know that there are no perfect dogs–understand all dogs have faults and to prioritize them accordingly

• Do not throw the baby out with the bathwater

• To help and encourage the newbies in our sport

• To be thankful for the opportunity to do what I love to do (except the travel part)

• To make it FUN!
