The Raritan Exhibition Center was a real hopping place filled with people, dogs, vendors, and the sweet smells of spring. Oh, those hyacinths really filled the air with their fragrance. Actually, the venue was a treasure. All breed shows, group shows, specialties, and competitions like ‘Best in Specialty Winner’ went on from early in the morning to late at night.

It was refreshing to see how many participants and officials dressed up for this first show of spring. Gone were the dull colors of winter. For the eye’s delight pinks, purples, gold, yellows, lilacs, and spring greens were worn by many at the show. The gentlemen really stepped it up with plaid jackets, colorful ties, and pattern shirts–so nice to see.

Let’s take a closer look at some of the notable fashion worn by those in attendance.
