AKC/CHF Canines & Cocktails

On December 14, 2017, over 400 dog lovers from across the United States gathered at the Rosen Centre Hotel in Orlando, FL to celebrate recent advancements in canine health at the AKC Canine Health Foundation’s 7th Annual Canines & Cocktails. The gala featured live music, great food, and an exciting Roaring Twenties theme. A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the 2017 President’s Award to Ann Viklund of Purina and the Distinguished Research Partner Awards to the Portuguese Water Dog Foundation, Scottish Terrier Club of America, Scottish Terrier Club of America Health Trust Fund, and Westie Foundation of America, Inc. The night was made possible by the support of Event Chairs, Dr. and Mrs. William Truesdale, the event’s Lead Sponsor, The Canine Chronicle, and many other sponsors and guests.
