There is something going on in the professional dog world. Everyone has gotten used to the critics claiming dog shows are purely beauty pageants that exploit dogs as stepping stones for human success, and additionally with financial gain as the main incentive.

ust when we thought the weather-related disasters were over, we have friends that are dealing with fire-related evacuation and damage in Northern California. As an avid wine snob, not only am I keeping tabs on my friends, but also on our favorite wineries! My thoughts are with those affected by these horrible fires. May you and your animals stay safe.
