“Preston”
The term wunderkind is defined as “someone who achieves success or shows great talent at a young age.” Can a dog be a wunderkind? In Preston’s case, the answer is a resounding yes!
Preston won his first All Breed Group 1 at the age of 12 months and achieved his Australia Championship title at 8 months of age.
His record in Australia is amazing. He was a Top 10 Dog All Breeds in 2014 with 16 Bests in Show & 21 Reserve Bests in Show as well as multiple group wins at Australia’s most prestigious shows.
In the USA, Preston has accumulated 6 All Breeds Best in Shows, with his first being awarded from the classes. Preston has also won 5 Reserve Best in Shows and 14 Group Firsts and is the #1 Puli* in 2015. He has accomplished all of this in just over 2 months as a special.
Preston topped off his great beginning in the States with Best of Breed from the classes at the 60th Anniversary Puli Club of America National Specialty under Internationally-acknowledged Breed specialist Ann Bowley who said, “ A classic Puli true to form and function and in excellent condition to take him all the way.”
We are proud and excited to introduce Preston to the American dog fancy. He is being campaigned by Linda and Mike Pitts and we thank them for making his transition from Australia so easy. He is the culmination of over 35 years of breeding at Cordmaker and his pedigree includes some of our top dogs who also happen to be the top Pulik in breed history. Our sincere thanks to the judges that have rewarded his outstanding quality.
