By Elaine Lessig

Well Fashionistas, a whole world of camera-worthy Glam Cam daytime fashion dotted the landscape at Westminster 2023. After reporting on the evening judges and officials, who can resist a look at some of the daytime judges and the stewards who assisted them? For your visual pleasure, and insatiable desire to see more and more, here is a tidbit of the two days of the well-dressed folks who graced the breed rings with their well-chosen daytime attire.

A notable star of the show was the astounding stadium all dressed up for Westminster. It was amazing! Enjoying the show from the heights of the Billie Jean King Stadium with me were friends Cesar Cortes and Frank Kane. Obviously, today’s trends encourage us to put our own mark on our clothing choices. The trick is to wear it well and make it work. Notice that the stylish Mr. Cortes, who currently resides in New York City, chose jeans with a well-fitting white cotton shirt exemplifying his easy style and manner. In contrast, Mr. Kane, a consummate Englishman, donned a vintage plaid dinner jacket with striking green lapels. He shared that the jacket belonged to his late father who was also a bit of a “dresser.” Ummm…the apple did not fall from the tree!

Now, get those cameras, Google Lens, and busy fingers ready. Notice the respect for the esteemed history of this prestigious show which is evident in the choices made by the judges and stewards featured. They truly reflect the spirit of Westminster.
