The AKC Canine Health Foundation Hosts Canines & Cocktails
The AKC Canine Health Foundation (CHF) invites all dog-lovers to Canines & Cocktails on Friday, December 14 at the Rosen Centre Hotel in Orlando, Florida. This event, held on the eve of the AKC National Championship dog show, celebrates our canine companions and the scientific breakthroughs made by CHF-funded researchers in both canine and human health.
The cocktail reception will include heavy hors d’ oeuvres, open bar, raffle, door prizes, and music.
Tickets for the event are $125 and all proceeds benefit canine health. Tickets can be purchased on the CHF website www.akcchf.org/caninesandcocktails.
Raffle participants will have an opportunity to win a piece of artwork or a jewelry gift card. “Hickory” is an original pen and ink drawing by artist Chris Duke. This beautiful, museum-quality piece is 36 inches tall by 48 inches wide framed. “Hickory” is the original poster artwork from the 2012 Westminster Kennel Club dog show. Also being raffled is a $1,500 gift card generously donated by BB Unlimited. BB Unlimited offers beautiful, custom, hand-made jewelry of over 150 breeds of dogs. Each piece captures the uniqueness of the breed. Raffle tickets are $20 each or six tickets for $100, and can be purchased on the CHF website www.akcchf.org/caninesandcocktails. Need not be present to win.
The AKC Canine Health Foundation is grateful to The Canine Chronicle for once again providing corporate sponsorship of the event.
