Morris Animal Foundation Announces Call for Research Proposals
DENVER/March 14, 2022 – Morris Animal Foundation is now accepting proposals for studies focused on subaortic stenosis in Newfoundland dogs.
The Rib Cage
The rib cage is formed by thoracic vertebrae and the shaft of the rib is roughly oval with a distal end, somewhat enlarged, which is joined by cartilage. This is attached to nine small flat bones joined together by cartilaginous joints called “sternebrae.”

Week Three of my March marathon continues with one of my all-time favorites–the Kentuckiana Cluster in Louisville, Kentucky. Once again, the Pomeranian National will be held across the street at the Crown Plaza. This year’s national is very special as my friend, Curtiss Smith, will be judging!
