What breed of dog am I?
- I am an ancient breed in the Hound Group with the look of a rustic no-nonsense rabbit dog unspoiled by passing fashions.
- I am a breed of moderation; I possess a wedge shaped head with erect ears, a sickle shaped tail, a sound skeleton and a well muscled body.
- I am a very rustic breed shown naturally. My breed has two varieties; a smooth short very dense coat or a long hard wire coat. The hair on my muzzle is longer on the wire coat variety. The wire coat is not as dense as the smooth varieties. Both varieties are without undercoat.
