Mr. Moses says, “I  think one of the biggest mistakes that exhibitors make is NOT giving their dog a treat on the down and back! Exhibitors wait until they get to the end of the line after the go around to reward the dog, by doing so many dogs will NO LONGER use their ears on the down and back as they know they won’t get a treat until they get to the end of the line. Also, when baiting a dog they move their hands up and down much too fast. It is much better to slowly break off a piece and GIVE it to the dog!!!”
