Send Us Your #FormFollowsFunction Photos!
All dog breeds were bred to perform a specific purpose. We want to see our readers’ dogs doing the work they were bred to do to be shared on The Canine Chronicle!
Thank you Ellynne Dickson for sharing this Form Follows Function photo of your Pembroke Welsh Corgi, BISS GCHB Curig FaerieTale Highland Heir HIT S CD RM SDO RATM TDCH VB ROM(C) VP Am: RN RATM TKP, doing what he was bred to do! This photo was taken of Fraser going after an escapee from the pack during his Herding Instinct Test. According to the American Kennel Club, “The Pembroke Welsh Corgi is a strong, athletic, and lively little herder who is affectionate and companionable without being needy. They are one the world’s most popular herding breeds. Built long and low, Pembrokes are surprisingly quick and agile. As herders bred to move cattle, they are fearless and independent.”
