Katie Bernardin – Westminster Best Junior – 2004

Katie Bernardin calls these photos her Precious Gems. It appears Katie got her start very young in obedience with a perfect sit stay. Born with a competitive edge and the love of dogs in her heart, in 1996, with Grandma Shirley at her side, Katie ventured into the Junior Showmanship arena. In 2004 Katie and her Mini Wirehaired Dachshund, Elmo, were crowned Best Junior Handler under esteemed judge Mrs. Jeannette McGinnis.
