The Beverly Hills Kennel Club shows are being held this coming weekend at the Pomona Fairgrounds. As most of you know, this show will air on television Easter Sunday. The groups and Best In Show will be taped on Saturday. Breed judging will begin Saturday at 7 am in order to accommodate the group judging/taping which will begin at 1 pm; then Best In Show will be held at 7 pm Saturday evening. The BHKC scored an entry of 1300-plus. Not bad for a rescheduled show weekend! The Beverly Hills show runs against the cluster in Arizona for the first time in its history. We will see how the entry, etc. shakes out this year! If you are attending, please stop by the Purina booth and say hi. I’d love to see you and catch up. Who knows, maybe you have some information for a future column!

Happy 39th Wedding Anniversary to Rob and Diana Skibinski from Crowne Point, IN! Rob and Diana have been involved in the sport of purebred dogs for quite some time. When not judging, Diana exhibits their Dalmatians and Rob can be found behind the camera shooting win photos at some of the midwest clusters. May you guys have many more happy years together.

Best wishes to Dale Kaplan who is recovering from wrist surgery to repair the injuries sustained in the accident he and his girlfriend Holley Eldred were in a couple weeks back. Reports are the surgery went well. Let the healing begin!

The Louisville Cluster entries close today: That means that the free reserved grooming deadline is also upon us. PLEASE! Get your reserved grooming requests to Nina Fetter (nfetter@woh.rr.com) asap! There is no reason to not make advance reservations for grooming space since, as in past years, the reserved grooming is free of charge!
