Archer the Skye Terrier Wins Terrier Group At The 149th Annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show
The Skye Terrier of Flemington, NJ handled by Antoinelle Vulpis and owned by Antoinelle and Frank Vulpis, won the Terrier Group under judge Mr. David Kirkland of Sanford, NC, at the 149th Annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show presented by Purina Pro Plan held at Madison Square Garden, “The World’s Most Famous Arena,” on Tuesday, February 11.
Archer, a 7-year-old male officially known as GCHS CH Gleanntan’s Sure Shot Greyjoy, took top honors among the 32 dogs entered in the Terrier Group. Westminster sees over 2,500 entries in conformation, with two days of Best of Breed judging from Monday, February 10 – Tuesday, February 11 held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, culminating with the Group and Best in Show competitions at New York City’s iconic Madison Square Garden.
Archer will celebrate his eighth birthday on Friday.
