The name “Affenpinscher” means “monkey-like terrier” in its native Germany, and the breed has a characteristic monkey-like facial expression. A rough coated, ap-proximately square dog, the Affenpinscher’s longer head hair framing the face, with the eyebrows and beard, contribute to the expression.

Exhibitors who were heading home after the Chattanooga shows this past weekend were warned about a traffic situation involving carjacking on the Interstate. Some fanciers were stuck in traffic for over 4 hours. Social media was a great resource to warn those still at the show to seek alternative routes.
