We love purebred dogs for their singularity—each breed designed for a different end—each both functional and beautiful. In their working lives—even as companion animals—we see examples of form following function. The long, low Dachshund; the pendulous Bloodhound; the solid and athletic Labrador Retriever. In conformation shows, we see these same qualities in an aesthetic context. “Best dog on the day” looks most like itself, and what it represents.
Many folks look forward to the Bucks and Trenton weekend on the East Coast. Their efforts allowed Trenton to celebrate their 100th anniversary.

Here I am, just six miles east, but a world away from our previous home. Finally, I am taming the chaos. These past six weeks have been a whirlwind of activity and emotions. Making the decision to sell our home of twenty-one years was the easy part. We agreed. It was time. The selling part happened much faster than we ever expected. One open house on the Sunday before the Super Bowl brought several potential buyers. Early the next morning came an offer. How pleased we were that a lovely couple found our house to be as beautiful and unique as we did. Stately historic homes are definitely not for everyone, but it was perfect for them. Three days later the house was under contract

When we think of a sighthound, we think of the greyhound: “A Greyhound should be headed like a snake, And necked like a drake, Footed like a cat, Tailed like a rat, Sided like a teme, Backbone like a beam.” (Dame Juliana Berners’ Boke of St. Albans of 1486).
