By the time Carolyn Chow learned that her father had Alzheimer’s, he would only have five years before succumbing to the disorder in 2017 at the age of 86.
It was devastating to see her father, Joshua Chow, MBA ’64, deteriorate so quickly. “He was highly educated, brilliant and highly sociable, and Alzheimer’s took that all away,” said Chow, a staffing consultant for the Division of Human Resources at Cornell.

The Kennel Club of Beverly Hills is going to look a bit different this year. Malibu Kennel Club is joining the party and their shows will be held Wednesday and Thursday March 2nd and 3rd. Great Western will once again be joining the cluster on Friday, March 4th and Beverly Hills will be held Saturday and Sunday March 5th and 6th. Due to conflicts with the Winter Olympics and COVID-related issues, NBC will not be filming this year.

When did it become okay to have a total disregard for the breed standard? There, I said it and I mean it. And I am not talking about a difference of opinions or priorities. I am talking about ignoring or rewarding DQs as defined in the breed standard. Whether it be size, weight, color, bite, eye color or pigment, breeds have DQs for a reason.
