Dog taxidermy seems odd, if not macabre, to most of us today, although you can still have your beloved pup stuffed after death. And occasional famous taxidermy dogs can be found in museums (and other odd places) around the globe.
Stepping out of the juniors’ ring at eighteen, I found myself facing an unexpected twist in my journey. For nine years, competing in junior showmanship had given me a clear purpose and direction, but suddenly, the world was my oyster.
