The Westminster Kennel Club’s annual dog show has proven that it can “make it” in New York for well over a hundred years; weathering two world wars and a pandemic, among other crises. So it’s with a light touch that I mention that this year, the show’s 148th, “New York” will once again mean the borough of Queens.
