Remembering Bob Covey

1994 Ch. La-Shay's Bart Simpson handled by Bob Covey winning Best In Show under Judge Mrs. Beatrice Goodman

We are sad to report the recent passing of famed Cocker Spaniel handler Bob Covey.  Bob was best-known for piloting Ch. La-Shay’s Bart Simpson to #1 Sporting Dog and #2 All Breeds in 1994, and the team won over 100 Best In Shows in a two-year period. Bob was a friend and teacher to many in the sport. He is fondly remembered not only for his talent with dogs but also his intelligence and wicked sense of humor.

Bob is survived by his wife, Georgianne, and his children. He will be missed by all that knew him.
