In Memory of Ellen Fetter

We are saddened to report the passing of Rose Ellen Fetter, known to those close to her as Ms. Ellie or Ellen, who passed away on November 13th, her 77th birthday. We all knew Ellie as an AKC licensed judge and long-time fancier, and mother of Nina Fetter; however, she was also a well-known farmer in her community of Lima, Ohio. Ellie was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Fetter, also an AKC licensed judge, who passed away several years ago.

Ellie was loved by all who had the privilege of knowing her, and she was known for her kind and thoughtful demeanor. She was very active in her local kennel clubs. Ellen will be sorely missed by the fancy.

Our thoughts are with Ellen’s family and friends at this difficult time, especially our dear friend Nina who was the best daughter any mother could ever hope for.

Those wishing to pay their respects in person can visit with the family on Monday, November 18th from 6-8pm and Tuesday from 10am until noon at Chiles-Laman Funeral and Cremation Services Eastside Chapel (www.chiles-lamanfh.com) in Lima, Ohio. Services will begin at noon on Tuesday, November 19th.

The family requests donations to the American Cancer Society in her memory.
