I was saddened to hear that long-time Western Reserve Kennel Club member Peg Gross passed away suddenly last week. Peg was known for her Schipperke and Finnish Spitz shown and bred under the Roadrunner kennel name. Peg will be greatly missed by the fancy, but most of all she will be missed by her family and her dear friends with the Western Reserve Kennel Club.
There seems to be a great amount of misinformation and confusion about where newcomers should go to purchase or acquire their first dog. Many of those who are interested will go to dog shows and ask assistance from fanciers and judges.
