Christmas trees are nontoxic to your pets, but the needles, if ingested, can cause irritation to the lining of the intestines. Therefore, it is best to prevent your pets consuming any needles from your tree. In addition, preservatives used in your Christmas tree water can also be toxic. Avoid using these preservatives or make sure your pet does not have access to the Christmas tree water.

Others attended shows on the west coast or east coast and “high-tailed” (no pun intended!) it to Florida, driving through the night to arrive in Orlando in time for Tuesday’s all breed show. In just a few short weeks, people will be heading to the big apple for Westminster. Pace yourselves, my friends! Hopefully next year’s end of year schedule will be a bit more “normal”.

Many of you may have watched the National Dog Show on Thanksgiving Day following the Macy’s Parade. Ratings for the National Dog Show topped views for the Oscars by nearly 1 million viewers! This just confirms that dogs truly are the BEST!! The National Dog Show scored 11.3 million viewers on Thanksgiving Day!
