Remembering Connie Howard

The Canine Chronicle is saddened to share the passing of Connie Howard.

Connie became involved in showing dogs in the late 1960s. She bred and showed Labrador Retrievers and Flat-Coated Retrievers for decades.. Connie enjoyed judging in both the United States and Canada. She began judging in 1988 and was licensed to judge the Sporting Group, Australian Shepherds, Junior Showmanship, and Best in Show. She was also the past president and show chair of the Durham Kennel Club for many years.

Connie will be deeply missed by the many friends who remember her for her kindness and positive attitude. Her funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, February 7th at 3 PM. It will be held at the Cavin-Cook Funeral Home in Mooresville, NC.
