Colored Bull Terrier Wins Terrier Group At The 148th Annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show
The Colored Bull Terrier of Ontario, Canada, handled by Sarah Byzewski and owned by Sarah Byzewski and Joe Byzewski, won the Terrier Group under judge Patricia Anne Keenan of Chehalis, WA at the 148th Annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show presented by Purina Pro Plan, held at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.
Frankie, a 3-year-old female, officially known as GCHB CH Grabo Frankie Goes To Magor, took top honors among the 32 dogs entered within the Terrier Group. Westminster will see over 2,500 entries in conformation, with two days of Best of Breed judging from Monday, May 13–Tuesday, May 14, culminating with the Group and Best in Show competitions.
The Terrier Group was televised live on FS1 on Tuesday, May 14 followed by the crowning of Best in Show on FS1 from 7:00–11:00 p.m. EDT. The Empire State Building illuminated the New York City skyline in Westminster’s iconic purple and gold to celebrate the 148th annual event.
