Have you ever been on the steep leg of the learning curve? Of course you have; you’re human, and not one human being has popped out knowing everything about how to do everything. The learning process can be slow and frustrating, and yet it’s important to honor the process as you go through it.

When you ask the best professional handlers and the best owner-handlers about learning, they all say the same thing: they’re still learning every day. Leaving yourself open to new ideas, new products, new training tips, and new handling techniques is something the best handlers do, which is how they got so good in the first place.

How do you feel about learning? And how do you feel about wanting to win more than you do? When the answers to those two questions support each other, you’re more than halfway to winning more. When you’re willing to put in the time and training, you’re in the sweet spot and can expect the wins to come more often.
