Marc and I currently (although this is very soon to change) live in the South West of England, in a tiny Dorset village not too far from the sea.
Every summer this gorgeous county is swamped by families wishing to escape the overcrowded cities–desperate for a much-deserved break by the seaside.
Residents have to adapt to this influx and during these hectic warmer months we exercise our merry little Dachshund pack relatively late at night on the beaches.
And we recently met two like-minded individuals who do exactly the same thing! Show-goers too, they own a pack of Keeshonds or, to be grammatically correct, Keeshonden.
I’ve quite often seen these delightful busy-bodies around our shows but have never got up close and personal with one. Well, our nocturnal dog walks on Bournemouth’s seafront soon changed that.
