The American Kennel Club Crowns 2025 AKC Agility Premier Cup Winners
The American Kennel Club (AKC®), a not-for-profit organization, the world’s largest purebred dog registry and leading advocate for dogs, is excited to announce the winners of the AKC Agility Premier Cup presented by Pet Perfect by Shaw Floors. This year’s event took place on May 2nd at Fort Stewart, GA as part of AKC Salutes the Troops, a weekend that honored service members and showcased the powerful bond between dogs and their handlers.
Nearly 100 of the country’s top agility teams gathered for the AKC Agility Premier Cup. Competing across five height divisions (8”, 12”, 16”, 20”, and 24”), teams vied for a total of $10,000 in prizes in one of the most anticipated agility competitions of the year.
“The competition was fierce at this year’s AKC Agility Premier Cup,” said Douglas Hurley, AKC Director of Agility. “The event was thrilling to watch, and we’d like to congratulate all of the teams for their hard work and dedication to the sport.”
The 2025 Winners:
Placing first in their height division (8″, 12″, 16″, 20″ and 24” respectively) were:
8”: Aerilee’s Songbird, a Papillon known as Lark, handled by Betsey Lynch
12”: NAC MACH Breezy Blue’s Be Quick!, an All-American Dog known as Nimble, handled by Cynthia Hornor
16”: NAC MACH Epic Chase The Stars, a Border Collie known as Zula, handled by Jada Sawhney
20”: Finix Xcelerate, a Working Kelpie known as Xcel, handled by Erin Stumler
24”: Fast Talk Words Are Wind, a Border Collie known as Genuine, handled by Perry DeWitt
