Swissys On The Silver Screen – A GSMDCA Costume Contest

A Costume Contest was held at The Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Club Of America National Specialty in College Corner, Ohio this month. The theme for the event was “Swissys On The Silver Screen!” The Entries were scored based on attention to detail, originality, theme execution (traditional), creativity, incorporation of dog(s), and overall appearance. Awards were given for the following:

• Best Actor (Best single dog entry)
• Best Supporting Actor (2nd Place single dog entry)
• Best Actress (Best single bitch entry)
• Best Supporting Actress (2nd Best single bitch entry)
• Best Picture (Group – multiples dogs/bitches and/or multiple handlers)

Some of the winners are pictured here: Ben Hur, Secretariat, Top Gun and Star Wars!
