Thank you Shannon Green for sharing these wonderful photos of your daughter, Kennedy, and her Pekingese! Shannon shared the following about her daughter, “Kennedy competes in both Junior Showmanship and Conformation with her Pekingese, “Lincoln.” We are a Pug family but Kennedy has loved Pekingese since she first saw one at about 2 years of age. She finally got her own Pekingese a year ago as her very own Juniors dog – not your usual choice! Kennedy does everything with Lincoln – all the grooming, trimming and even training!

They have been showing in Junior Showmanship together since January and have already qualified for Westminster Kennel Club! Kennedy is a Top 10 Toy Junior with Lincoln’s help and they have reached the Master Class. The best part of her journey with Lincoln and in the Pekingese breed is the mentorship she has gotten from Lincoln’s breeders, Lori and Mark Stephen of Aslan Pekingese, and from Alison Greenwall Gray. Through the people who have invested so much of themselves in her, she has gained so much love for the breed and the sport!” Keep up the great work, Kennedy!
