#NextGeneration Spotlight – Jasper Tholt

Thank you Nicole Tholt for sharing these wonderful photos of your son, Jasper! Nicole says, “Jasper Tholt, 13 years of age, has been showing in 4-H since he was 8 years old. One day, while crusing Facebook, we saw a friend shared a post of a retired AKC Grand Champion who would make a great Junior Showmanship dog. We decided to purchase him thinking, ‘Trying out AKC could be fun.’ Jasper and ‘Boomer’ entered their first AKC Junior Showmanship class in July 2024. By Sept 2024, Jasper decided to try AKC Conformation. They earned a Toy Group Fourth and OH Toy Group Third and Jasper was hooked!

Living in MT, there are not many local shows and it is hard to travel during the school year. Jasper moved up to the Open class at his 4th weekend of shows earning a Reserve Best Junior! Since acquiring Boomer, Jasper has trained him in multiple sports and added Rally, Obedience, FastCat, and Canine Good Citizen titles to Boomer’s name. To date, their most exciting accomplishment is earning an NOHS invitation to the 2025 AKC National Championship!

Jasper has had so many people help him and we are so humbled by all the open, helpful and kind people we have met along the way. He wouldn’t be nearly as successful without their help.” Congratulations and keep up the great work, Jasper!
