Neal the Bichon Frisé Wins Non-Sporting Group At The 149th Annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show

The Bichon Frise? of Mabank, TX handled by Lisa Bettis and owned by Ellen Charles, Fan Yang, Nancy Brown, and Glen Lajeski won the Non-Sporting Group under judge Mrs. Vicki Seiler-Cushman of Xenia, OH at the 149th Annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show presented by Purina Pro Plan held at Madison Square Garden, “The World’s Most Famous Arena,” on Monday, February 10.

Neal, a 4-year-old male, officially known as GCHS CH Top Speed Neal, took top honors among the 21 dogs entered in the Non-Sporting Group. Westminster sees over 2,500 entries in conformation, with two days of Best of Breed judging from Monday, February 10 – Tuesday, February 11 held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, culminating with the Group and Best in Show competitions at New York City’s iconic Madison Square Garden.
