The AKC Foundation Stock Service (FSS) has only four breeds earmarked for the Terrier group, and one of those, the Teddy Roosevelt. The breeds come from four different continents: South America, Europe, Asia and North America. Without further adieu, here are the four breeds:

Brazilian Terrier: The Brazilian Terrier is one of only two breeds native to Brazil. In the late 19th and early 20th century Brazilians studying in European universities often returned home with little terriers they’d acquired. Most often, they came from France and England. The dogs were probably of the Fox Terrier and Jack Russell Terrier types. They interbred with South American dogs and soon established their own strain, and eventually, breed. They are very good ratters. They hunt alone, but can also hunt in packs. This is a small to medium-sized dog, usually under 22 pounds, with a shorter muzzle than other terriers of its body type. The tail is either naturally short or long, not docked.
