Fairness In AKC Discipline

It is important that the sport has confidence in the objectivity and fairness in the AKC discipline procedures. There appears to be considerable belief among the sport that such is not the case now.

Proposal:

The AKC Board of Directors must appoint and authorize a person or a committee–not to exceed three–with impeccable credentials to examine all AKC files for the past two years relating to the decisions made to prosecute or not prosecute misconduct discipline cases.

The Board should instruct the person or committee to look for incidents or patterns showing the following:
