All Revved Up
Yes, Dogs are our life, and we love our dogs, but we all have some sort of a side passion. A little something, we do to otherwise occupy our minds. I have always been amazed by the number of Motor Heads, Gear Heads and Bikers in the dog world. Cars and motorcycles ranging from the classics to just plain funky are hidden in some of dogdom’s secret garages. This week we bring you Randy’s Dream Car!
Greater Swiss Mountain Dog exhibitor Randy Kitts from Knoxville, Tennessee is pictured here with his 1968 Camaro convertible, V8, 4 speed on the floor, posi-traction muscle car. Randy is a first-time owner handler of KNOX the Greater Swiss Mountain Dog. He retired Knox in Texas of 2020 at his peak when Covid shut everything down. How fitting is it that Randy found his dream car this month in Texas where he last showed and retired his Swissy. Randy says “I drove this car 17 hours from Texas to Tennessee with the top down. Did not expect all the thumbs up, fist pumps and horn blowing on my trek home. When I stopped for refreshments, I looked outside and folks were taking pictures and selfies with it. Good stuff! They bring back memories for so many. Thanks again Randy for sharing your ride with The Canine Chronicle. What’s in Your Garage? Send me a photo and bio for our All Revved Up!
