AKC Public Education Presents New Webinars For Dog Lovers This Fall
The American Kennel Club (AKC®), a not-for-profit organization that serves as the world’s largest registry of purebred dogs and a leading advocate for canine welfare and responsible ownership, is excited to announce that the Public Education Programs & Resources webinars, hosted by AKC Public Education, will return on October 7, 2025, at 5:30 PM (EST), and November 11, 2025, at 5:30 PM (EST). These webinars will highlight the diverse range of educational programs, resources, and initiatives available to the public, focusing on ways clubs can increase community participation in events and attract new members, especially youth.
Designed primarily for clubs, educators, families, and youth leaders, the webinars will review the various offerings created and supported by the Public Education team to teach children and community members about dogs in a fun and meaningful way. Each 60-minute webinar session will provide:
- An introduction to the AKC Public Education team, its role within the organization, and its overall mission
- An overview of the major programs and resources available through AKC Public Education
- A brief Q&A session following each program segment, where participants can ask specific questions about the information shared
- A final open Q&A session at the end of the webinar for any remaining questions
- A printable program guide, emailed upon completion of the session
Whether you’re a parent, educator, or club member, there’s something for everyone interested in helping the public learn about dogs in an age-appropriate, engaging, and responsible way. The webinars are free and open to all interested parties. Registration is required. To register for the Public Education Programs and Resources webinar on October 7th, 2025, click here.
