AKC Museum Of The Dog Announces Dog Days Of Winter Juried Art Competition
The American Kennel Club® Museum of the Dog is thrilled to announce Dog Days of Winter, a juried art competition and exhibition for Members of the Museum, marking the first time the competition has been held since the Museum’s opening in 2019. All Members are welcome to submit artwork in any medium. Submissions will be accepted starting Friday, November 15th through Sunday, January 5th, 2025.
Submissions will be narrowed down to a select number of artworks that will be put on display in the Museum from January 29th through March 2nd for public voting. The winner, fittingly titled “Best in Show,” will be announced at a party at the Museum on Friday, February 28th.
“Our Members are our biggest champions, and we want to be able to celebrate the role that they play at the Museum,” said Allison O’Keeffe, Director of Development at the Museum. “We are very fortunate to have many talented artists among our Members and what better way to make them feel appreciated than to give them the opportunity to have their own artwork displayed? We want to thank them for their support, and we wish them all the best of luck in this competition!”
The number of artwork submissions increases based on the level of membership. Members can submit their works via online submission here or at info@museumofthedog.org
