The American Kennel Club is still seeking insightful personal comments and suggestions regarding the newly proposed Judges Approval Process. The proposed Judges Approval Process can be reviewed here. Responses, including comments, suggestions, questions, and overall agreement or disagreement, are requested no later than Tuesday, November 18, 2014. Responses can be emailed to judgingapproval@akc.org.
– Breed Priorities – Chihuahuas
The Chihuahua is the smallest AKC breed, not to exceed six pounds. It is twenty-second most popular, based on the last year’s registration statistics, the fifth most popular toy breed. It has two coats types, smooth and long, and the dogs are shown as separate varieties based on coat. The Chihuahua is certainly one of the best-known breeds, the star of film and commercials.
