I admit—it’s harder than I thought it would ever be. Physically, moving into your new home is exhausting. First, the boxes need to be placed in the correct room. If they are in the wrong place, they need to be moved again. Hopefully, each box has a label with its contents and final location. Even so, the odds are likely that some things will never fit in the space as expected. Suddenly, boxes pile up in the garage or a large room until a place is found for them. From my recent experience—honestly—boxes still remain in the garage.

The Dandie Dinmont Terrier was named after a character in the book Guy Mannering written by Sir Walter Scott. The breed was first identified in the early 1700s, developed from rough coated terriers around the borders of England and Scotland. Initially they were named based on their coat colors–Mustard and Pepper. They were famed for their hunting prowess, initially going after otters and badgers.
