Purina Farms Tornado Damage

From Purina Farms:

We are devastated to share that last night, Purina Farms was struck by what is believed to have been a tornado, and our Visitor Center, Pet Center, Barn and Incredible Dog Arena were significantly damaged. Most importantly, all employees who were onsite at the time are safe, and all of our animals are accounted for, safe and being cared for by our staff and with the help of our community partners.

We are still assessing the full extent of the property damage and will provide updates on how this will impact any future events scheduled at Purina Farms. In the meantime, we will remain closed to all visitors until further notice.

Update From Purina Farms:

Our buildings may be damaged, but our spirits are high, and our hearts are full around these guys! The biggest thank you to our amazing staff and community partners who showed up last night to help us ensure all of our animals were safe and healthy.

Some of our furry friends were taken to foster homes thanks to the teams at Franklin County Humane Society -MO and Open Door Animal Sanctuary. Our horses were safely relocated to Longmeadow Rescue Ranch, and our other furry and feathered farm friends were moved to other areas of the property that were unscathed by the storm.

We have had an outpouring of love and offers to help with cleanup. Thank you! Unfortunately, it is simply not safe for us to allow guests or visitors at this time. If you’re looking for a way to support Purina Farms, please consider supporting our awesome partners with a donation or, of course, by adopting or fostering an adoptable pet!
