Judging Panel For 2025 National Owner-Handled Series Finals Announced

The American Kennel Club^® (AKC^®) is pleased to announce the judging panel for the 2025 National Owner-Handled Series (NOHS) Finals. The AKC NOHS Finals will be held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida as a part of the AKC National Championship Presented by Royal Canin on Saturday, December 13 and Sunday, December 14, 2025. Best in Show for the NOHS Finals will be judged by Ms. Pluis Davern on Sunday evening.

This year, NOHS breed and group judging will take place over the weekend, with events scheduled for both Saturday and Sunday. The NOHS judging for the Terrier, Working, and Herding groups will be held on Saturday, while the Sporting, Hound, Toy, and Non-Sporting groups will be judged on Sunday. The NOHS breed judging will occur on the opposite day of the regular breed judging at the National Championship to allow for participation in both events.

“We’re thrilled to be a featured part of the AKC National Championship and expand the NOHS Finals,” said Guy Fisher, Manager, Club Development. “The opportunity for our competitors to participate in multiple events over the Championship weekend is exciting and we look forward to seeing everyone in Orlando.”

Judges for the seven variety groups at the National Owner-Handled Series Finals are: 

SPORTING BREEDS AND GROUP: Mrs. Betsy Yates

HOUND BREEDS AND GROUP: Mr. Hal Bierman

WORKING BREEDS AND GROUP: Mr. William Stebbins

TERRIER BREEDS AND GROUP: Mr. Gus Sinibaldi

TOY BREEDS AND GROUP: Mr. Gus Sinibaldi

NON-SPORTING BREEDS AND GROUP: Mrs. Danelle Brown

HERDING BREEDS AND GROUP: Mrs. Danelle Brown
