Event Cancelled: Columbia MO KC & Sedalia MO KC at Purina Farms

From The Sedalia Missouri Kennel Club:

The Columbia Missouri Kennel Club & Sedalia Missouri Kennel Club regret to inform you that due to the tornado damage at Purina Farms, we will be unable to hold our annual dog show scheduled for March 28, 29, & 30, 2025. While this is upsetting for everyone, we are very thankful that there was not an event going on at the time of the tornado.

Both clubs are grateful for the efforts and communication by Purina Farms. We wish them the best and hope that they will be able to re-open to the dog show community very soon. We have explored moving the shows to a different location, but unfortunately, all suitable venues that could accommodate the dogs, people, RV’s, and other things that are a part of a show of this size were unavailable at such short notice.

Entry fees are unfortunately not refundable (please reference the agreement on the entry form). Reserved grooming will be refunded by the clubs. Purina will be refunding RV parking. The clubs have decided that once the non-refundable pre-show expenses are paid, we will be donating a portion of fees collected to a local relief efforts, to assist in cleanup and recovery from this devastating storm.

The dog community is very fortunate to have a facility like the Purina Event Center in our area.

Please keep them in your thoughts as they rebuild, and join us there next year for a great weekend of shows!
