AKC bashing is a routine aspect of today’s dog world. Occasionally, we are all guilty of this, simply because saying nothing is easier than defying mainstream opinion.

During the warm UK summer, I had a very exciting trip to undertake. The opportunity to travel to the Emerald Isle otherwise known as Ireland to exhibit my dogs presented itself and I jumped at the chance. Let me tell you a bit about the ‘Munster Circuit’.

Sunday afternoon, 12/16, a concerned neighbor entered Belmont’s Kansas City home to discover his badly beaten body covered by a sheet. The previous Friday evening, his Afghan Hounds escaped from his property. Longtime dog breeders do not carelessly leave gates ajar. Belmont’s puppy was struck by a car and taken to a local animal hospital where friends are arranging its care.
