I’ve always admired the aristocratic bearing of the Weimaraner. It’s something that goes far deeper than just his iconic coloring; everything about him simply oozes a sense of nobility. This is a dog that will certainly turn heads.

Many years ago, we actually came very close to owning one.

Marc was also a huge fan and booked a puppy from a leading UK kennel. Fate then stepped in and conspired against that particular acquisition, which led us on to buying our Miniature-smooth Dachshund, Alfie.

I know, you couldn’t get two more completely contrasting breeds!

We subsequently went ‘all in’ for Dachshunds and Bostons, but have always retained an admiration for the inimitable Gray Ghost.

And who among us doesn’t enjoy a good ghost story, especially one with numerous plot twists and turns?
