The Kaz Hosaka Memorial Donation to Benefit Take The Lead

©Congleton Dog Photography – congletondogphotography@gmail.com

As we mourn the sudden passing of famed professional handler and poodle breeder Kaz Hosaka, many are asking what is being done to pay tribute to this amazing man.

Those who knew this great dog man, or had a brief encounter with him, remark about his kind demeanor toward everyone he met, and most were amazed by his humility. Remarks on social media included, “He was truly a gentleman.” “I was in awe.” “He was so kind and humble.” “He was so kind and gracious.” “He was handsome and charming and professional.”

Everyone who showed dogs admired Kaz’s master grooming skills that were matched by his soft hands and ability to get the best out of his charges.

Kaz’s wife, Roxanne Wolf, asked that, in lieu of flowers, contributions to Take The Lead in memory of Kaz would be appreciated. She said, “Dog shows were his life, and those in the dog show community were his family.”

Those wishing to honor Kaz with a donation to Take The Lead can go to https://takethelead.org/donation/. There is an option to dedicate the gift “In Memory of”.

All donations will be sent a receipt as well as an acknowledgement to Roxanne.
