Shih Tzu Wins Toy Group At The 148th Annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show
The Shih Tzu of Monclova, OH, handled by Luke Ehricht and co-owned by Luke and Diane Ehricht and Bonnie J Miller DVM, won the Toy Group under judge Glen Lajeski of Cloverdale, CA at the 148th Annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show presented by Purina Pro Plan held at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.
Comet, a 3.5-year-old male, officially known as GCHP CH Hallmark Jolei Out Of This World, took top honors among the 25 dogs entered within the Toy Group. Westminster will see over 2,500 entries in conformation, with two days of Best of Breed judging from Monday, May 13 – Tuesday, May 14, culminating with the Group and Best in Show competitions.
The Toy Group was televised live on FS1. Tune in for the crowning of Best in Show live on FS1 on Tuesday, May 14 from 7:00–11:00 p.m. EDT. The Empire State Building will illuminate the New York City skyline in Westminster’s iconic purple and gold to celebrate the 148th annual event.
