Breed Essence with Jane

Many breeds have an epigram that defines them.  That short, distinctive line or quote that instantly gives you a mental picture of the breed’s essence.  That little something maybe a breeder, judge, or exhibitor mentioned or a sentence from the breed standard. These one-liners hit the nail on the head and are thought-provoking.  This week bring you the Pointer.

The Pointer’s classic outline comes from the uninterrupted, smooth and graceful curves of a functional gun dog. A good pointer appears as if it’s about to burst out of its skin – Wayne Cavanaugh
