Table Talk
Is it really possible that there are only 2 show weekends remaining in 2016? I cannot believe another year has passed. I have enjoyed sharing thoughts and goings on with you throughout the year and look forward to continuing to give you show updates, and other various bits of news about our friends in the sport as we move into 2017. Your continued support is much appreciated!
I would love to hear about holiday trips and other celebrations to share with our friends. Please drop me a line. I will be attending the Orlando shows – please look me up and say hi! We will do our best to report results to those that cannot join us in Orlando.
This past weekend the long three week Arizona circuit came to a close with the Yuma shows. The entries were good and the competition was fierce according to those I spoke to that were there. To those that are making their way back home, please be safe!
Some of you will be showing in Chicago, Cleveland, Pennsylvania, or Dallas; and if you are lucky like me, you will be staying home until you leave for Orlando!!!!! Wherever your travels take you, please be careful! Please call or email me with interesting things happening at the shows.
We would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to the friends and family of Jack Patterson who passed away this past week. The fancy also lost another friend in Barbara Partridge: our thoughts and prayers to her friends and family.
Our thoughts and prayers to Haley Whitcomb’s father who suffered multiple serious injuries after falling from a tree stand while hunting. We understand he is being moved to a location closer to his home but faces months of recovery and rehabilitation from his injuries.
Please keep Ron and Debbie Scott in your prayers, too. Ron had a setback in his recovery from a subdural hematoma and is back in the hospital. We hope he is back on his feet soon!
Ken Murray took a trip to Australia to judge Irish Setters recently. While his luggage did not make it at the same time he did, it seems as if the rest of his trip was uneventful and he has made it back home safe and sound. It sounds like there are some good dogs down under!
Birthday wishes to Alan Hargrave, Clint Livingston and Stephen Hurt! We are happy to celebrate another great year with you all. We wish you many more!
Be safe my friends, and be sure to protect your holiday decorations from your furry friends!
Until next time……
